Your Choice

“I am clumsy.”

“My family, teachers, friends, tell me this won’t work.”

“I’ve never been good at _______________________.”

Perhaps you can relate to these statements. I know I am guilty of believing these self-limiting beliefs in my lifetime. Science now proves the validity of the apostle Paul’s admonition to take our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ.

“We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.” ,2 Corinthians 10:5

You do not need to live as a victim to what you think, say, and do. You choose what you think, say and do. It is never too late to change the way you think, speak, and act.

According to Dr. Caroline Leaf,  researchers have found that adult brain volume can be reduced by what I call “stinking thinking.” Your brain can also grow by changing your thinking patterns and mindsets. “By choosing to change the way you think, you can literally regain gray matter in the brain!” *

You choose whether to maintain self-limiting thoughts or to replace them with life-giving thoughts. What Moses said to the Children of Israel applies to your choice of thoughts, words, and actions.

“‘ I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, ‘“ Deuteronomy 30:19

It’s your choice.

Choose life, Dear One.

Choose life.
