I think one of the enemy’s favorite taunts is to whisper, “Who do you think you are?’ When God’s children step out in the purpose and destiny they were created for.
The world wants us to believe that we must qualify ourselves before we can do the work God is asking us to do. Certainly there will always an element of on the job training, honing skills, and continual learning that goes into the journey of purpose and destiny. However, often God calls and then He qualifies.
In fact, I have heard it said that the only “qualified” disciple was Judas Iscariot. Think about that a minute.
The song “Nobody” by Casting Crowns and featuring Matthew West is a great one to memorize and sing back whenever the enemy comes at you with “Who do you think you are?” Or even “Look at where you have been.”
We are all nobody until God places His hand of favor upon us and guides us to soar with Him in the talent and gifts He bestows upon us.
