Where are You Going?

Monday I asked you to consider where you stand in relation to others in the body of Christ.

Yesterday, I asked you to ponder who God created you to be.

Today, I ask, “Where are you going?”

In order to be effective in the things the Lord asks of you, you must grasp an idea of where you have been and where you are headed on this journey/path called life. Otherwise you can, like the Children of Israel, wander aimlessly for a very long time.

Today, ask yourself these questions:

  • Where have you come from? Do you see the projection that has brought you to today? Can you see where that projection is taking you?
  • What are things that you are doing that you want to do more frequently, better, or with a different people group?
  • What are those things that you do that you would like someone else to do? It’s as important to know where you don’t want to go as much as where you do.
  • When have you felt yourself soaring in what God created you to do? That is an indication of the so much more that the Lord has for you.
  • Where have you seen positive fruit from your labors?
  • Where can you bear more fruit?
  • Go where the Lord takes you in order to dream big with Him.
  • Ask God to show you the vision He has for your life and purpose.
  • Take notes and ask the Holy Spirit to highlight the areas He wants you to go.

Then like Moses, ask the Lord to go with you.

“Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. How will anyone know that you are pleased with me and with your people unless you go with us? What else will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” Exodus 33:15-16

Go where the Lord tells you to go with confidence. His response to you is the same as He spoke to Moses.

“And the Lord said to Moses, ‘I will do the very thing you have asked, because I am pleased with you and I know you by name.’” Exodus 33:17

God is pleased when you step out in faith and His Presence to do what He created you to do. He calls you by name. He calls you His. You walk His plan and path for your life. He will put His hand of favor on you and equip you to fulfill your God-given purpose.

God will distinguish you from all the other people on the face of the earth as you soar with Him as who He created you to be doing what He created you to do.

Hallelujah!
