The song speaks of God’s overcoming power to knock down prisons we build for ourselves, to slay the giants in our lives, and overcome the fear that can shake our faith. We overcome all of these things because God—through Christ—overcame sin, death, and the power of the devil.
It’s all there in this song. That is our God. That is who we serve.
