Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass. 1 Thessalonians 5:24
Our God is a big God. He has big audacious plans for His children. It is often said that if you can accomplish your vision in your own strength, it is not God’s vision.
God’s plan for you in 2022 is undoubtedly much bigger than you can possible see.
Picasso said, “Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” Like the artist child, the dreams we have as children often become buried in the responsibilities of adult life. So, if that picture in your heart seems like childish ambition, unrealistic, or too big to be true—it’s not!
God is showing you the future!
Dream big and carry it with the childlike faith that God requires to accomplish it. It is good to dream big dreams! Don’t negate big dream just because they don’t seem possible when you look at your circumstances.
You, Dear One, were created to transform the world where you live.
By soaring with God in who He created you to be and what He created you to do, you are transformed into the best YOU in the whole world, which exactly what you need to change the world.
You don’t have to change jobs or move to Africa to change the world.
You can be nine or 90 years old, be male or female, have multiple degrees or not. You were designed and created to change the world here and now, where you are, and where God will take you. Your “flight plan” to soar with God will look completely different than anyone else’s.
Only you soar on YOUR flight path.
Certainly, there are times when your life path follows where others have gone. Other times the Lord will ask you to go where no one you know has traveled. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, “Do not go where the path may lead. God instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” With Jesus as your Trail Blazer, you may indeed go where there is no path and leave a trail for others to follow.
As this year opens, sit with the Lord and dream big dreams my Friend.
He is faithful to the call He speaks to you. He will bring it to pass, whether it looks possible in the natural or not. I leave you of Jesus’ own words in Matthew 19:26
“And looking at them Jesus said to them, ‘With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”
Amen and Amen. It shall be so!
