Good Monday Morning! As your week begins, what do you face?
Overwhelm by the emotions of the end of summer and the beginning of the school year?
A chronic condition that has flared up?
Uncertainty and anxiety about the rising COVID numbers?
Every week, even every day we can look at so many issues that threaten to derail our joy and steal our peace. We may experience set backs in our journey of destiny and purpose, or face a person who questions our God given identity.
Congratulations! You are living life as a Christ Follower. God never promises that our life will be free of trials or tribulations. He does promise His Presence and gives His Spirit freely. He abides in you and you abide in Him. That is great news, Dear One!
Chris Tomlin’s song, Our God, tells us of many ways that God is greater than “he who is in the world.” He is greater, stronger, higher, awesome in power, healer, and so much more.
My Friend, the God who lives in you is greater, stronger, higher, healer, awesome in power and so much more.
That is why the Apostle John can write with confidence that the One who abides in you will bring you victory over all of the overwhelm, health ailments, anxiety, etc that threaten to take you down into the depths of self-pity.
Be encouraged the God of so much more, the God who is greater than anything the world can throw at you, abides in you. He is greater than anything you face today.
With Christ’s death and Resurrection, your victory was procured before you stepped into this world.
How great is our God? He loves you with overflowing grace and mercy. He empowers you to take the step you need to take today. He quenches the arrows of the enemy and brings your forth in victory.
The God in you is greater than anything you face today, this week, or this month.
