You possess a gift mix and personality profile that is uniquely yours. Why then, Dear One, do you look to the right or to the left and compare your life with someone else’s? No one else carries the exact purpose for which you were created. At times, you will have companionship on your path, but sometimes you will feel very lonely. When you find yourself alone in your journey, trust the Lord’s words spoken through Jeremiah to the exiled leaders of Israel.
‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’ (Jeremiah 29:11–14)
There are so many promises in this passage! Take a few minutes and ask yourself what each of these promises mean to you today. How do you feel knowing these promises? Then ask the Lord to show you how to implement the promises more completely into your life. It is time worth spending with the Lord.

- Your future is full of hope.
- When you call on the Lord, He listens.
- When you seek Him, He will be found.
- Your fortunes will be restored.
- You will not remain alone on your path—even though it may feel like exile.
Trust the Lord’s wisdom and guidance, take His hand, and keep walking. Your future is ripe with opportunity and overflowing with promise Dear One! Unlock your amazing future by following your path.
