Yesterday I left Florida to travel home to Tennessee.
Yesterday was the sixth anniversary of my Dad passing to Heaven.
It was a day of remembrance. A day full of memories as I considered all that the Lord had given me through Dad and all that He had done during my stay and conference in Florida.
As I remembered, I made note of the memory. Like the tribes of Israel, I gathered my stones of remembrance.
Stone #1: The legacy of Dad’s ministry: his love for the Lord and representing the Gospel well.
Stone #2: The cloud of witnesses (Dad and the Galls included) feeling so present as we worshiped at The Box Church in Venice.
Stone #3: Sitting at the Lord’s feet and scribing what He showed me about the wind beneath our soaring wings.
Stone #4: My mother painting her first ever painting at my Painting with Holy Spirit workshop.
Stone #5: The testimonies of not one but two resurrection stories out of a group of 15.
Stone #6: Quiet time on the lanai watching ospreys, gulls, hawks, and more soar over the mangrove.
Stone #7: Witnessing the ah-ha moments of attendees when Holy Spirit touched them.
Stone #8: Deepening relationships with brothers and sisters in Christ.
The list go on and on.
My point is not to bore you with the details of my visit. My point is to encourage you to take a moment and list the stones of remembrance you have just experienced. Yesterday. Last week. Last month.
What are the sacred moment when God reached down from Heaven and kissed you?
Remember and give thanks.
