This morning I heard the statement, “If things are not going right, turn left.” I also heard a quote from Elvis Presley that says, “When things go wrong, don’t go with them.”
Both of these sayings remind me that we have a choice. We can choose light, life, and blessing or death, darkness, and destruction. We can choose to wallow in self-pity, or we can turn away from the spiral into the pit which the enemy would like to take you.
Like the traffic circles we come across, if you are not careful you may end up going around and around the same path. The alternative is to choose an exit from the circle.
If things aren’t going right, turn left.
If things go wrong, don’t go with them.
What choice will you make today, this weekend, next week? Refuse to be a victim. Make a choice to make a change.
