Winning Strategies

As we begin the second half of 2022, I want to take a moment to remind you of a few key strategies (Created For So Much More Chapter 11) to keep you soaring with God in your identity and purpose.

The strategy that underlies all of the “Halftime” blog posts is “Take Responsibility”. You alone carry your God-given vision and dream. Whether or not you are “winning the game” at this point, determine to make choices that lead to life, light, and blessing. Choose to avoid victim mentality or self-pity if you find yourself playing catch up for the rest of the year.

Continue to “Dream Big, Work Small” as you move forward to develop your identity and purpose. If you can accomplish your vision in your own strength, ask the Lord for the so much more that He has for you. We serve a big audacious God and He has big audacious dreams for His children.

Check your cloud formation/vision board and “Keep Walking” or keep moving forward. The size of your steps does not matter. Baby steps still get you there. Celebrate your milestones and remember to focus on progress not perfection.

Plan to “Do the Work” and “Hone Your Skills” as directed by the Lord. When He shows you it is time to get the not-so-fun tasks done, do not procrastinate. When He puts His finger on something you could do better, follow through to learn/train/educate yourself.

In all things, “Play to the Audience of One”. Listen to the One who created you and gave you the vision you pursue. Surround yourself with cheerleaders who align with God’s vision for you. Trust Holy Spirit in you. If you have a hard time believing in yourself, believe in God in you.

My final piece of advice for this series is to make sure you get in the Presence of God daily. It is what empowers you to be who He created you to be and to do what He created you to do.

Place your hand in God’s and allow Him to lead you into your destiny. He wants you to finish victoriously and fulfill your purpose more than you do.

He created you for it…and so much more.
