Today’s word is Listen. As you step out of your comfort zone you may find yourself in brand new territory. It’s not unusual for God to point you in a new direction for that new beginning He has shown you.
How do you know where to step, when to step, and how long of a stride to take?
Listen.
Isaiah 50:4 tells us that the Lord is willing to be our morning alarm clock when we open ourselves up to hear His voice.
The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue,
to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning,
wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. Isaiah 50:4 NIV
Have a teachable spirit and open ears and the Sovereign Lord will tell you today’s step.
That means you can trust Him and not fret about your new beginning outside your comfort zone.
